The Hylian Shield is a recurring item in the Legend of Zelda video game series, which is developed and published by Nintendo. It's a shield with the emblem of the Triforce on it and it's usually the most durable and powerful shield available in each game it appears in.
The Hylian Shield appears in many Zelda games, but not all of them. It first appeared in the game The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), which was released in 1991.
Since then, the Hylian Shield has appeared in many subsequent Zelda games, including Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Breath of the Wild, and others.
